THE MAN'S A GENIUS. WELL, WAS.

We received our copies of the book 'THE STANLEY KUBRICK ARCHIVES', a little while back and you have to check it out. IT WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. If you can get your hands on a copy...

Firstly the thing is huge, weighs around 14 pounds, and comes in a protective briefcase-style cardboard box. Already pretty impressive? Just wait until you open it up (assuming you can lift it).

The book is arranged in two halves. The first is a chronological series of stills from every film Kubrick made, all scanned from the original film. The second then discusses each film in detail (again chronologically) with interviews with collaborators and friends. The attention paid to putting this epic project together is incredible, and if you didn't realise he was a genius before...

Normally we'd be telling you to rush in and buy one, no library is complete without it etc... But ours are all SOLD OUT. You gotta learn, speed is of the essence. You can still flick through our display copy if you ask nicely. Under adult supervision of course.
