'THIS IS NOT A TOY' EXHIBITION OPENS.

M gets talked into presenting for Global TV...

...while the crowds outside get restless.

After an all-nighter setting it up, and delays due to TV crews at the scene, THIS IS NOT A TOY finally opened with an evening preview event and a few hundred guests. The space is looking good with hundreds of classic, rare and designer toys displayed using modernist furniture designed especially for the event by respected Indonesian architect, Juhara. As for the customized versions of the 707 'BoxR' toy designed for the exhibition, we're stunned by the amount of time and creativity people have invested in their creations (there's even one with live fish!). Guess they all want to win an iPod or some 707 stash. Definitely the most popular part of the exhibition last night...

Also, keep an eye out for the limited edition 707 x Darbotz T-shirt now available. We're sure you'll see a lot of people rockin' it starting tomorrow - a future classic? (Comes in black and blue, blue is ultra-limited for 707 staff and friends only - of course our friendship is easily bought with ready cash and extensive grovelling.)

The exhibition will be on from the 8th - 9th of July, 12 - 9pm daily. Free entry!

Many thanks to all who have contributed time and effort to making this event happen - you know who you are... And of course thanks to our sponsors, JUICE mag, AREA mag, Schweppes, Hotline, and eMac@icon.
